My name is Tyler and I’m 24 years old. My parents are Lisa and Greg and I have an older sister named Jordan. I graduated from Rockford in 2019 and from Empower U in 2023. I have worked at the Family Fare on Northland Drive as a service clerk associate and in the produce department for five and half years. I attend 1829 at Magnify Church and volunteer at Kids Food Basket. I love watching all sports especially football, basketball and baseball. I’m a Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Tigers fan. But most of all, I love all Michigan State sports! Also, I enjoy collecting baseball cards, playing video games, and traveling with my family. I am looking forward to new friendships and this opportunity to grow in my independence.
Hi my name is Aaron (Ay Ay Ron) Blum and I’m so excited to be a part of HGH #4! I just turned 19 this month and graduated from Rockford High School in 2024. I am currently taking some time off from school before pursuing my education in Zoology and Wildlife Biology because I would love to be a zookeeper someday. During the summer, I worked at John Ball Zoo on the Facilities and Grounds team and loved being able to work around all of the animals! I also work on the Facilities Team at Frontline Community Church, the church I attend with my family. My dad Brian is a pastor there and my mom Kerry is a nurse at Grand Rapids Public Schools. I have three brothers and a sister-in-law. My oldest brother Alan is 23, my other older brother Andrew is 22 and he just got married to my new sister-in-law Natalie. My younger brother John is 16. My dogs Cassie (3 years) and Ruby Sue (2 years) are Treeing Walker Coonhound rescues and are also a big part of our family. I love video games (building zoos in Minecraft), taking walks with my family, swimming, riding bikes and being in nature, and especially planning my yearly Halloween event called Halloween Heaven, which is a haunted trail and haunted house with dozens of spooky themes and animatronics. I am looking forward to getting to know my roommates and RA better and growing in my independent living skills.
Justin is 21 years old and has an older brother Jacob who is 24 and lives in Florida. Justin is currently living with his mom and dad and dog, Jericho. He is excited to be moving into his new house in Rockford. He graduated from Forest Hills Northern HS in 2022 and then attended the transition center for a year before participating in the Project Search program at Corewell Health. Justin likes to walk, play basketball, watch movies, build lego sets and play on his game system. He is looking for a job as he enjoys working and being a part of the community.
